The 2 and 1/2 hour service culminated in the laying on of hands by the ordained pastors present and prayers of dedication.

We then had a meal of rice and sauce, and then in was on the road again - this time it only took 6 hours and 40 minutes!!

On Saturday, May 27, Linn and I along with several others went traveled to the village of Gbinzo 2, where the local church and the association of churches were going to ordain their pastor of the village. Gbinzo is a couple of miles off the main road, which as you see here, is in bad shape in quite a few places.

There are several villages along this road going North from Ferke and then West. Those areas where they have sufficient water year-around, have developed rice fields. Right now is one of the harvest times - some places can get in three harvests during the year.

We took the wrong road off the main road and found ourselves on a bad road with lots of large puddles. When you come up to some of these, you do not know how deep they may be. We had to get out and test the depth with long branches to make sure it was ok to go through.

We got directions and took a small road, not much more then a path, over to the Gbinzo 2.
